Finding Solutions Together
When a relationship breaks down, it is a life-changing event. I work with clients to navigate the practicalities of separation. This can include discussing finances, where people will live, child arrangements, time with grandparents, and even how separated clients will communicate in the future. No issue is too big or too small, and each meeting is tailored to the needs of those particular clients.

Rebecca is a member of the Family Mediators Association and Family Mediation Council.
She provides online MIAMs (Mediation Information & Assessment Meetings) to establish whether mediation is suitable for you.

Child Arrangements
Rebecca offers a child focused approach to any discussions about future arrangements for children. Their welfare and wellbeing, and the effects of separation upon them, are central to discussions about their future.

Finances
Rebecca guides clients through discussions on any financial issues that arise. Asset division, pensions, property, debts and maintenance are all matters that are frequently dealt with through mediation.

What is Family Mediation?
Family Mediation is a voluntary process that helps separated couples resolve disagreements over issues such as finances and children.
The aim of mediation is to reach agreement outside of Court Proceedings.
Sessions can be held together or separately, online or in person.
What is a MIAM?
If you are planning to issue Court Proceedings in respect of child arrangements or finances on divorce, you are required to attend a MIAM (Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting) unless you are exempt.
If mediation is not suitable for you, or the other person refuses to attend, the Court form required will be issued by us for you to proceed.

Rebecca’s mission
When a relationship breaks down, it is a life-changing event. I work with clients to navigate the practicalities of separation, which can include discussing finances, where people will live, child arrangements, time with grandparents, and even how separated clients will communicate with each other in the future. No issue is too big or too small, and each meeting is tailored to the needs of those particular clients.
I worked as a Family Solicitor before training as a Family Mediator with the Family Mediator’s Association.
I have witnessed the damage that can be caused to families and former partners already struggling to communicate and find solutions through protracted legal proceedings.
